Quince Chamber material and object study

CORE BENEFITS

WHY THIS FORM

Three reasons to live with it.

01Fruit without brightness

Quince appears as mellow skin and soft ripeness rather than a sweet, juicy top note.

02Chamber depth

Agarwood, sandalwood and resin give the blend an enclosed, layered warmth.

03A cool seam

Borneol keeps the composition translucent and prevents the fruit and resin from feeling heavy.

PRODUCT DETAIL & SCENT IDENTITY

OBJECT STUDY · 03 VIEWS

Form first. Then depth and touch.

View 01: Complete form — Shape, scale and colour kept fully legible.

SCENT IDENTITY · 01

How it moves through time.

Heart: Agarwood · sandalwood · mellow fruit

Drydown: Styrax · frankincense · soft chamber warmth

Atmosphere: Intimate, layered and gently nocturnal

HANDCRAFTED PROCESS & MATERIAL PROVENANCE

THE WORK · THE SOURCE

Made by hand. Kept close to material.

THE WORKSHOP

Hand rolling incenseNatural incense materials

01Shape the chamber

Agarwood and sandalwood are balanced to create a warm, contained foundation.

02Fold in fruit and resin

Quince, styrax and frankincense are added for mellow sweetness and depth.

03Lift, roll, rest

Borneol opens a cool seam before the paste is rolled, dried and allowed to settle.

MATERIAL TRACE

Quince: Used for the impression of mellow fruit skin rather than overt sweetness.

Agarwood · sandalwood: Build the warm wooden chamber that holds the composition together.

Styrax · frankincense · borneol: Bring resinous depth, transparency and a final cool lift.

FOUNDER INSPIRATION & THOUGHT

FROM THE FOUNDER

The thought behind the scent.

Inspiration: I wanted the scent to feel close, like fabric warmed by the body or fruit resting in a wooden room. The quince needed to be present without becoming decorative, so I let the woods hold it from every side.

Founder thought: “Intimacy in fragrance comes from proportion—nothing should stand too far in front of the rest.”

USE SCENES & CARE

LIVE WITH IT

Use gently. Keep it well.

01Before rest

Burn for a short while before bed, then extinguish while the room still carries the trace.

02A private room

Use in a smaller, well-ventilated space where the fruit and resin can remain close.

03Rain at the window

Its mellow wood and fruit character suits slower weather and inward time.

CARE NOTE

  • Store cool, dry and tightly sealed.
  • Keep away from direct sun and damp textiles.
  • Never leave burning incense unattended; extinguish fully before sleep.
